PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Regardless of the weather forecast this weekend, there will be ice.

More than two dozen ice sculptors will take over Fishtown on Saturday for the second annual Fishtown Freeze, where they will hand-carve pieces at several locations around the neighborhood. Philly’s finest will be on display, like a Draft Latte from La Colombe, a Fishtown fish, and, of course, Gritty.

On the way to the next sculpture, check out the gingerbread workshop, a photo op with Santa or a flea market to knock out your holiday shopping.

Old City is keeping the Christmas spirit alive and well — in the form of actual libations. Don your best Santa costume at the Santapalooza bar crawl, or enjoy live music and art at a Motown Christmas-themed event at the Philly Art Collective.

The kids can get in the fun, too: Roll out of bed Sunday morning and head to Dilworth Park for a pajama party with Saint Nick, including an à la carte breakfast and ice skating. You can literally say “I woke up like this.”

Plan the rest of your winter outings with The KYW To-Do List, your guide for all things to do in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. Listen to our top picks below.
