Here we go again … walking my dogs through Glen Ridge, which has a lot of interesting slate sidewalks, where I tend to imagine seeing things in the odd shapes and grooves. So … what do you think I’m seeing here? Any ideas?
The shape on the sidewalk, below right, seems to have an eye and a long beak, which makes me think of a plague mask, used by doctors in France and Italy in the 17th century (learn more here). What do you think? Am I making a logical visual connection here?
