A friend of mine sent me some info about a Vincent Van Gogh Starry Night LEGO kit which is being considered for production. From what I understand, the idea was submitted to LEGO’s “Ideas” and “Fan Designer” section, and since it received over 10,000 votes of approval, it will eventually be produced.
So it got me thinking: what other artists would I like to see included in LEGO kits? I found my kids’ old collection of LEGO Minifigures, and started looking through them for ideas …
I found this red-haired figure, below left, and as soon as I saw it, I thought: “look at that hair! It’s Yayoi Kusama!” So I went about to create my own imaginary Photoshop version of a Yayoi Kusama LEGO Minifigure … what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
