GRAYSLAKE – The Village of Grayslake and the Grayslake Arts Alliance are seeking an artist or team of artists to create a sculpture in commemoration of the village’s 125th anniversary this year.
Titled “Embracing Change,” the public arts program carries with it a $5,000 prize and is open to artists throughout Illinois, said Michelle Poe, executive director of the Grayslake Heritage Center.
The winning entry will be unveiled in Grayslake’s Village Center on Aug. 15. Deadline for applications is Jan. 31.
